It is not enough to live,
to experience life.
To be fully alive we must
also reflect on life.
And go beyond reflection
Jungian-Senoi Dreamwork Manual
Informed, in part, by what depth mythologist Michael Meade has termed "the Jungian project of the Deep Self," the work at Lanterna Soulwork meets each person wherever they are in the soul's mysterious process of revealing its instructions.
I think of my work as a form of "lantern-following" — a process of spiritual inquiry, exploration, illumination, and discovery. Your spirit, your soul, is the lantern. As with all lantern-light, the next steps on the path are revealed in stages. My role is to walk with you through those stages of revelation and illumination as a co-walker, assisting when and where I can to make sense of what presents itself on the journey you are on.
While affirming, clarifying, purifying, and sometimes healing, Lanterna Soulwork is, first and foremost, spiritual and educational. It is a process of soulwork, of spiritual companioning, and sacred inquiry. It is not an avenue for seeking treatment under the models of psychotherapy, psychiatry, or addictions recovery work.
In this work, a sacred space is held to engage with the timely (and sometimes insistent) call of the soul and its many themes. In the spirit of adventurous inquiry, we shine the light of awareness on multidimensional energies and vital themes stirring in the conscious heart-mind, events of everyday life, deep inner stirrings, the contents of dreams as well as non-obvious processes taking place in the undercurrent of your life.
Though there are models for understanding the soul's ever-deepening journey, and time-tested maps for navigating the many twists and turns of the road we may travel in a lifetime, each person's journey is utterly unique to them.
